ACTING

My life in the theatre began as many do: as a high school actor heading for college with stars in his eyes. While I had my share of success on the stage, I was drawn to learn more. Thus began my understanding and appreciation of the collaborative nature of theatre as I sought to acquire skills as stage manager and director. Much of my current skill as a director is my ability to understand the play from an actor's viewpoint, and it is important to me to act whenever possible to remind myself of the demands on both sides of the footlights. I am a member of Actors' Equity Association (http://actorsequity.org/).  My physical and vocal characteristics have been best showcased in such roles as Seymour in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Robert in BOEING BOEING and Wilbur in HAIRSPRAY. If you are looking for someone to play Amos (Mr. Cellophane) in CHICAGO or the Wizard in WICKED...call me.
